Emotions
The wife experiences several emotions in the story.
When the husband came to live with her, she felt so happy. She
said:"it was the happy years of my life." Because he was just purely good to
her, he is also a hard worker, and so big and fine looking. When the husband
began to come home late, she felt worried since his voice was different when he
talked to her. In addition, he looked tired and strange when he backed. "Even,
he smelled strange." It made her hair stood up on end. She was so scared when
her youngest children got scared looking when the husband came in. She
was "frightened to shaking." When she saw her husband turned into a man, she
felt grief. He was her "own dear love, by the turned into a hateful one." She
was so sad when her sister killed the husband because she still loved him.
From her emotions, we can see she has a kind heart, even through she is a wolf.
